Travel Adventures

We have lived full-time in a 35' Hitchhiker Fifth-Wheel since 2003. Beginning in 2007, we did a newsletter to our friends and family. The index to past issues of this newletter is on the next page.

Home Base

Back in 2003 we decided to keep our legal residence in Florida, since both of us were born and raised in the Sunshine State. We bought an RV lot in the Great Outdoors Resort in Titusville, FL. In 2006 we bought two additional lots in the Wilderness RV Park Estates in Silver Springs, FL.

As of the winter 2008, we have left our Hitchhiker in Polson, Montana, and bought a used Montana fifth-wheel that we keep on one of our lots at Wilderness. Our pattern now is to spend the summer in Polson and the winter in Silver Springs or traveling out of the country. January to April, 2009, we were in New Zealand and Australia.

In January, 2010, we bought a Townhouse in Tallahassee, FL, and sold the Montana fifth-wheel.

Our travel pattern is to go somewhere and stay for five months. We look for a place we want to visit and then find a place where we can work part time in an RV park to offset the site rent. We've worked in some great places!

Craft Projects & Hobbies

Both of us keep busy doing a variety of crafts and hobbies. Paula does quilts, knitting, doll making, beading, etc. Paul does photography, machine embroidery and some quilting.
